Me and four of my best friends decided to drive up to Wallingford Connecticut, to visit my friend Vinny. We had a lot of issues on the Friday that we were leaving and didn’t end up hitting the road until about 4:30. Anyone that drives knows what that means, sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic for about an hour and a half. We left at 4:30 and didn’t arrive until around 7:00. Without traffic the ride is normally about an hour and 12 minutes from my house so the traffic tacked on an hour 15 at least. Once we finally arrive we got ready to go to a Halloween party. The party was at a frat house off-campus, this house was packed to the brim you couldn’t walk one step without having to maneuver your way through a sea of people. The first night was definitely a success even though the party was busted by police. The second day we woke up and went and got Chick-fil-A which is no where near close to my house so when I’m in range of a chick fil a I have to get it. We then went back to my friends dorm and watch the scary movie in honor of Halloween. We then got dressed and ready to go out to a club about 15 minutes from the school. I frequently go to New York City to clubs and bars during the weekends and this club in the middle Connecticut was asked fun if not more fun than the average club you’d find in New York City. All in all it was definitely a success and I look forward to visiting again especially because if we don’t hit traffic it’s only about an hour drive. below I will attach an article that I found interesting about mental health done by students at QU.
